This multimedia piece called "The Girl in Red II," created by Noelle Barr, is the runner-up of the Visual Art category of the “Tell Your Story” student contest conducted by UC Santa Barbara’s Division of Humanities and Fine Arts for Give Day 2018.
Life in Humanities and Fine Arts aims to tell a compelling story of Creativity, Imagination and Empathy - and Barr’s mix of sharp white cuts and ochre splotches on her bright red background helps to tell that story.
Barr is a UCSB Freshman double majoring in Music and Art History.
